The Spirited Seniors is a social group for all parishoners (singles, widowed, divorced and married). The group gets together monthly for a wide variety of social activities. You are invited to participate in just one or all of the functions. Other than one planning meeting per year, there are NO meetings and NO dues !!! Just fun and friendship !

Recent Events

Check out what you missed!

Our January event was Crazy Cards, and as usual kind of crazy, but lots of fun. 37 came, and as usual we had great food. Sandwiches, chips, cookies and drink. Gene came in first and won a bag of apples. Thanks to Norma and Donna for putting it all together.
Our December event was dinner and a tour of Our lady of the Snows Christmas lights thru Maryland Heights activities. 25 went, and had a good time. Thanks to Jane & Gene Naumann for setting up everything.
We held our annual planning November 30. Since I (Bob) got very sick, I didn't go, but Larry Alles took over and did a great job! 15 or 16 attended and came up with a good year of activities. See above. Come join us!

Our October event was Card Bingo, 35 came, a good time was had by all! Thanks to CJ Schweppe for setting up everything!

Our September event was a "Hill Tour", guided by Joe DeGregorio. There were 25 of us that learned much about why this neighborhood remains a unique and special destination. Our tour included a homemade ravioli demonstration at Mama Toscano's, St Ambrose Church and concert, learning and playing some Bocce, and walking a little of the area. It was a lot of fun. Many thanks to Pat & Rich Jennings for arranging our tour!

Our July event was the annual swim party at the Pedrotti home. 29 attended. The water was 90°and almost everyone got in the pool. As usual we had great food and fellowship.

Our June event didn't happen because of lack of participation. Thanks to Don & Marilyn Huber for trying to get trivia night going.

Our May event was Mass/Breakfast, May 22. 33 attended. As You Like It once again catered the breakfast part and it was very tasty. A good time was had by all.
Our April event was a coffee Concert at the Sheldon. 24 attended and saw 4 talented musicians play music from the 40's. Most then went to Forest Park Boat House Restaurant for lunch. Always food involved. Thanks Bob Schwent for putting it all together, again.
Once again our March event was a murder mystery, a who done it, called, "The Pet Peeve Murder." 30 attended and 10 were involved. It was a lot of fun. Again we asked for snacks and desserts, and we had lots. The mystery this time was faily easy to guess who done it...the Wife. Thanks to Judy & Larry Alles for putting it all together!

Our planned February trip to the Rep proved to be too expensive. We did not attend.
